15th Annual Stuffing the Pantry 5k Run/Walk
About the race
This is the 15th Annual 5K race and two-mile walk to benefit our neighbors who face food insecurity. We have been able to donate around $500,000 as well as thousands of pounds of food to Open Pantry Community Services, Inc. over the last 14 years. Due to current economic hardships, the needs being addressed by the Open Pantry have never been greater.
This year's events will be in-person with a virtual option available as well. The race will be on Thanksgiving morning at 8:00 AM and will be at the Stanley Black and Decker American Saw facility.
All proceeds from the Road Race and Walk will be contributed directly to the Open Pantry.
Open Pantry Community Services, Inc. was established as a private, non-profit organization in 1975 and incorporated as Open Pantry of Springfield, Inc. in 1977. With humanity and dignity, the Open Pantry endeavors to provide meaningful services and processes, which can assist people who are hungry, homeless, or disadvantaged to improve the quality of their lives.

East Longmeadow is a town in Hampden County, Massachusetts, in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. It is about 5 miles southeast of downtown Springfield, 25 miles north of Hartford and 88 miles southwest of Boston. It holds a well-known annual Fourth of July parade.
