Sahyadri Marathon 2026
About the race
The Sahyadri Marathon 2026 takes place on Sunday, November 15, starting at 6:00 AM at Shri Dev Gangeshwar Temple, Shiposhi, Taluka Lanja.
The event offers three race distances suited for various age groups and experience levels:
- 21 km Half Marathon: Open to participants aged 18 years and above.
- 10 km Challenging Marathon: Open to participants aged 16 years and above.
- 5 km Fun Marathon: Open to participants aged 9 years and above.
A 20% discount on registration fees is available for the 21 km and 10 km categories for early bird entries (until August 15) and group entries (groups of 10 participants).
All participants receive finisher medals and certificates upon completing their race.

Prizes and Awards
Cash prizes and awards are distributed across categories as follows:
- 21 km Men & Women (Open): 1st Place: ₹15,000, 2nd Place: ₹10,000, 3rd Place: ₹5,000 (includes Medal, Certificate, and T-Shirt).
- 10 km Boys & Girls (Open): 1st Place: ₹10,000, 2nd Place: ₹5,000, 3rd Place: ₹3,000 (includes Medal and Certificate).
- 5 km Fun Marathon: Medal, Certificate, and T-Shirt.
Facilities Provided
The following facilities are provided for race participants:
- Accident insurance coverage for all competitors.
- Hydration, ORS, and medical first aid stations every 2 km along the course.
- 2 medical ambulances equipped with doctors and trained healthcare personnel.
- Traffic and security arrangements handled with approval from the Police Department.
- Accommodation and food arrangements available for out-of-town contestants at ₹700 per person, collected during registration.
