The event features a 750m open water swim in the private lake at Holkham Estate, a 20km undulating off-road bike leg on estate trails, farm, and gravel roads (suitable for gravel, cyclocross, mountain, or sturdy hybrid bikes), and a 5km run primarily on grass trails and footpaths finishing on the orange carpet.

Swim Course

The 750m open water swim distance takes place in the private lake at Holkham Estate, set against the backdrop of Holkham Hall. Swimmers are fully supported throughout by a qualified swim safety team.

Bike Course

The 20km off-road bike route takes place on trails, farm, and gravel roads within the Estate. While not technical, an undulating terrain requires practice riding on grass and gravel. Gravel, cyclocross, mountain, or sturdy hybrid bikes are recommended.

Run Course

The 5km run is primarily on grass trails and footpaths close to the main event area, finishing with a sprint down the orange carpet. Light trail shoes or road shoes with good grip are recommended.
