The Outlaw Nottingham Sprint takes place at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham on 22 May 2027. Featuring a 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run, this event offers a fast and flat course in an iconic venue with an incredible race-day atmosphere.
Participants will experience on-course support and nutrition, live DJ commentary, a supportive community of staff and volunteers, and an orange carpet finish in front of the Grandstand where friends and family can join for the final moments.
Key Requirements & Eligibility:
Entitlements & Inclusions:
The course consists of a 750m lake swim starting at the boathouse end and looping around the Tower, a 20km flat 4-lap bike route around the lake, and a 5km single-loop run around the lake finishing on the orange carpet in front of the Grandstand.
The 750 metre swim is an easy-to-follow route in the lake. You'll start at the boathouse end of the lake and swim straight down towards the Tower. At the Tower, you'll make a left turn to swim across the lake, then another left to head straight back and exit under the swim arch.
The 20 kilometre bike course is flat and as fast as you want it to be – but watch out for the corners! Keeping the lake on your left, you will complete 4 laps of the lake before dismounting to head into transition.
The 5 kilometre run route will test your legs on a single, scenic loop that takes you all the way around the lake. You'll finish in true Outlaw style, running down the iconic orange carpet and crossing the line in front of the Grandstand.
