Summers (March to May) are hot and dry, the monsoon (June to September) brings steady rain and green hills, and winters (November to February) are cool and pleasant. October to February is the best time to race, with cool mornings and low humidity. December and January mornings can feel chilly, so bring a light layer. It has an airport and is about three hours by road from Mumbai.
