West Greenwich, RI (private property adjacent to Big River Management Area)
We will disclose the site address to registrants and their crews, but parking is limited, so please plan to limit your vehicle number to one per runner.
The start/finish area has a fully-stocked aid station, and there's plenty of room nearby for your pop-up tent, table, and whatever else you need. We do recommend that you bring what you need and don't fully rely on the aid station. The most successful racers often use a mix of what they brought and what we offer.

Racing starts at 10 am on Saturday. Racers will complete the course at whatever pace they choose, but they MUST complete the loop in less than 60 minutes. Those that complete the course in under an hour will earn the right to continue.
The second lap starts at 11 am, the third at 12 pm, and so forth. Same loop, same rules apply. The race continues in this format until there is only one racer remaining (standing).
The lone athlete must be standing at the starting line ready for the next start and complete one loop more than the second to last DNF to be declared the Last Human Standing and the winner.
The course is a loop of roughly 3.8 miles with about 450 feet of vertical gain. It starts on double-track for the first 0.5 to 0.6 miles, then turns onto singletrack that crosses the double-track back and forth. Arrows and orange flags mark the route, and the terrain includes rocks, roots and low-lying logs.
