Welcome to the Skunk Ape 100 Mile Endurance Run in the heart of Florida, in the historic Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway.
The top four male and female finishers receive a piece of art crafted by Brie at Wicked Skins. Her wooden trophies are some of the best around.
Every finisher receives a shirt, hat, pint glass, beer opener, pins, stickers and a bag to carry it all in.
Registrations after April 1st receive shirt sizes based on what is available on race weekend.
Add-on items such as the jacket, quarter-zip and joggers can be selected during registration. They will be ready for pick-up at packet pick-up and on race weekend.
All aid stations, staffed or unstaffed, are stocked with soda, pickles, pickle pops, gummy worms, mustard packets, Gu, chips, cookies, salt tabs, produce (such as bananas, grapes and oranges), and an electrolyte powder (probably Gatorade). Band-aids and women's hygiene products are provided in a plastic box at every aid station.
All aid stations should have hot food or coffee. Expect glow lights and other fun items for the night miles.
All aid stations have crew access. The race guidebook and rules give full details on aid station locations and crew guidelines.
Crews must be courteous and respectful of the campsites near aid stations. Be courteous to other park users, pedestrians, bike riders, campers and drivers, who have priority over you.
Pick up your bib, then stay to meet members of the Florida trail running community. Local race directors, running coaches, podcast hosts, running clubs, outdoor organizations, businesses and community groups will have tents set up to meet and talk with runners.
Groups confirmed so far include Combat Racing, A1 Ultras, Where's the Finish Podcast, Florida Trail Runners Podcast, PacerTravel, Marion County Runs, F3 Ocala, Williston Ruckers, Brick City Ruckers, the O-Town Blazers and YouRunYou. More groups will be added to the list.
The race guidebook and rules give all pacing details.
The Skunk Ape Trail Series links four Skunk Ape Events trail races into one challenge: the Skunk Ape's Revenge, the Skunk Ape 100 Mile Endurance Run, the Skunk Ape Night Run and the Wild Boar Night Run.
Any distance counts, as long as you finish. Everyone who completes the Skunk Ape Trail Series receives a 2027 jacket.
Drop bags are collected at the start. Both the 50 and 100 Mile races have two drop bag locations, at the 49th Avenue Aid Station and the Pruitt Trailhead Aid Station. The 100 Mile race has a third drop bag location at the Ross Prairie Aid Station.
The course runs on the Florida National Scenic Trail and the paved trails in the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway. It is a somewhat out-and-back route that passes through the Ross Prairie Wildlife Management Area. The outbound route follows the Florida Trail and Ross Prairie, while the inbound route uses the Florida Trail, bypassing Ross Prairie, and then the paved path. 100 Mile runners do the course twice.
Course cut-off: 36 hours, April 26th (Sunday), 7pm. This is an average of 43 minutes 12 seconds per mile.

Ocala is a city in North Central Florida and the county seat of Marion County, known as the Horse Capital of the World for its more than 400 thoroughbred farms and training centers. Nearby attractions include the Ocala National Forest and Silver Springs State Park. The climate is hot and humid, with long summers, so late autumn through spring is the best time to race.
