This is the only event of its kind in Montana, brought to you by the Helena Ultra Runners League (HURL).
The course is a modified figure 8 loop on Helena's South Hills trails (Mount Ascension and Rodney Ridge areas). You have 12 hours to cover as many loops as possible.
Even though the course is just outside the City of Helena, do not assume you won't run into wildlife. Deer, black bear, and mountain lion have been seen along these trails.
The event starts at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, and ends at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19.
The event is limited to 75 total runners.

Expect plenty of rocks on these Montana trails.
Helena is the capital city of Montana and the county seat of Lewis and Clark County, with 32,091 residents at the 2020 census. It began as a gold camp during the Montana gold rush in 1864. Winters are long and cold while summers are short and dry, so summer and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
