About the race

Come join us for a weekend of mountain running in the Lower Selkirk Mountain Range of the Colville National Forest, WA. There is a race distance for everyone, with plenty of fun and camaraderie.

The area is one of the most beautiful the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Emory Corwine Memorial Ruck Race

The ruck race is a relay where 2-5 participants complete one of 5 legs, carrying a minimum 35 lb pack for males and 25 lb for females, packed with non-perishable food items. Racers travel the same course as the Kaniksu 50 (K50) and have a 20-hour time limit. If you can hike at a 24-minute-per-mile pace, you can do this event.

The race honors Air Force SERE Specialist Emory Corwine, who passed away in a motorcycle accident in Airway Heights, WA, on his way to perform flag duty one early morning in June 2012. Proceeds go to the SERE Memorial Fund. The event has donated over 3,000 lbs of food to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank in Spokane, WA.

Blister Club (Solo Ruck)

After several years as a sub-category of Emory's Ruck Race, this event is now recognized as a major event.

Members of the Blister Club complete the 50-mile course with a ruck, under the 20-hour time limit.

To register, choose Solo Ruck under events in registration.
