Keirin Cross at Fifth Street
About the race
Keirin-ish CX at Fifth Street.

We're cutting the FSX/Pineapple CX course down to a 2.5–3 minute lap and running track-style keirin heats on it. An e-bike pacer leads lap 1, then pulls off, and it's a full-gas sprint to move on.
We need 24 riders by November 20 to make this happen. Heat sizes and final numbers get locked in once we know who's in.
This is a proof of concept. If it wraps early, we'll make up something else dumb and fun.
Rule #1, as always: don't be a dick.

If we have a large contingent of Women/NB/Juniors/etc then we can break up the race, but to get numbers, please register under this catch-all.
Entry
Entry is free. Bring a 6-pack: beer, cookies, whatever you'd actually want to win. Everything is pooled and split at the end.
How it works
- Every heat: Line up behind the e-bike pacer. Nobody passes it. When it pulls off, it's on.
- Round 1 (2 laps): The top 1–2 go straight to the Semis. Everyone else heads to Second Chance.
- Second Chance (2 laps): The top 2 move on. Round 1 heat-mates are split up so it's a fresh fight.
- Semis (2 laps): The top 3 go to the Major Final. The rest go to the Minor Final.
- Finals (4 laps): Major Final for places 1–6, Minor Final for places 7–12.
- Breaks between rounds so your legs come back.
