About the race
Jackson County Ultras takes place on December 5, 2026 at PYOCA Camp and Retreat Center, Inc. in Brownstown, IN.
Though the course is rugged, Pyoca Camp, Conference, and Retreat Center offers warm, dry places to eat, sleep, shower, and gather before and after the race.

- Camping: Jackson-Washington State Forest has 54 primitive first-come, first-serve campsites at $13 per night, just down the road from the event. Some sites are on the course itself.

Weekend packages
Affordable weekend packages are available with full meals on Friday night, a Saturday post-race meal, and a Sunday recovery breakfast.

Check-in and registration deadlines
Check-in location: PYOCA Camp and Retreat Center, Inc., Brownstown, IN.
Online registration closes November 20 at midnight. Day-of registration is available for $10 more, if not sold out.
Apparel deadline: November 15, added in the RunSignUp store.
Prices increase on June 1 and September 1.
Cancellation policy
No refunds within 3 months prior to the event. Refunds incur a 20% service charge. Transfers allowed for a 20% service fee prior to registration close. $15.00 deferral fee.
The course
The 100K and 100K relay courses cover 62+ miles of demanding Indiana singletrack. The 10 Miles, 50K and 100K distances are run on trail.
Location
City insight: Brownstown
Brownstown is a town in Jackson County, Indiana, USA, and its county seat, and it shares its name with Brownstown Township. The 2020 census counted 3,025 residents, and the town was named for Jacob Brown, a general of the War of 1812. Indiana summers are hot and humid while winters are cold, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
