Breaks is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place located mostly in Buchanan County, Virginia, close to the Kentucky border. It lies east of Breaks Interstate Park and was first listed as a census-designated place in the 2020 census, with a population of 144. Summers are hot and humid and winters are mild, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
