City insight: Ave Maria
Ave Maria is a planned community and census-designated place in Collier County, Florida, covering about 8,000 acres, with Ave Maria University in the heart of town. Its population was 6,242 at the 2020 census, and it is part of the Naples-Marco Island metropolitan area. Florida's subtropical climate brings hot, humid summers and mild winters, so late autumn through early spring are the best seasons to race.
