Clubs, Groups & Training Groups

Introduction for Club, Group and Training Group Administrators

Welcome. If you are reading this, you are probably about to start a Club, a Group, or a Training Group on EnduRace.Pro, or you have already started one and want to understand it a little better. This page is for you, no matter which of the three you are running.

If you are a Club Admin

A Club is a free, open community. Maybe it is a group of runners who meet at the same park every Sunday, or cyclists who ride the same route every weekend. As the Admin, your job is simple: keep the club active, keep the page updated with good photos, and let people know your club exists so more of them can join.

You do not need to collect money or manage payments. A Club never charges anyone to join, so your work is mostly about the community itself, not the money side of things.

If you are a Group Lead

A Group is different. It is usually a one-time paid trip, like a cycling expedition or a running camp for a weekend. As the Group Lead, people pay you through the app to join your trip, so you also need to think about what is included in that price, like food, stay, or a guide, and what people should bring themselves.

Because money is involved, take a little extra care while filling in the price, the dates, and how many people you can take. Once someone pays and joins, changing these details gets a bit trickier, so it helps to get them right the first time.

If you are a Training Group Coach

A Training Group is for regular training, not a one-time trip. Maybe you coach a group that trains every Tuesday and Thursday morning. People pay once to join your group, and then they keep training with you, session after session, for as long as the group runs.

Unlike a Group, a Training Group usually does not need an end date. You can leave it open-ended and simply keep it running for as long as you are coaching.

What is common to all three

No matter which one you run, you get the same basic tools. You can add a bio and a cover photo so people recognise your Club, Group, or Training Group at a glance. You can keep it open for anyone to join, or make it invite-only if you would rather add members yourself. And you remain in control, you can edit almost everything later, including the price for a paid Group or Training Group.
