City insight: Woodland Park
Woodland Park is a home rule municipality in Teller County, Colorado, USA, and part of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area, with many residents commuting to Colorado Springs. It is surrounded by the 1,000,000-acre Pike National Forest. The high-elevation climate is cool, dry and sunny with snowy winters, so late spring through early autumn are the best seasons to race.
