The Adrenaline Rush 5K is back for its third year, and this year it is the biggest yet. Runners, walkers, families, friends, and supporters gather at Fletcher's Cove Boathouse in Washington, D.C. for a 5K along the water, supporting adrenal cancer research.
You can run for a personal best, walk with your crew, or come out and enjoy the energy of race day. The race is for everyone, and every participant helps build a stronger community around the cause.
Blue Cheetah Sports Timing will professionally time the race. Every participant will earn a finisher medal, and first-place medals will be awarded by age group to in-person participants.
Virtual participants can run or walk the 3.1 miles wherever they are. Green attire for adrenal cancer or zebra attire for rare disease is encouraged.
Participants can choose which institution their team's donations go to. The team leader who raises the most money will get a free SUITE for ACC Warrior Weekend 2026 at Le Meridian Hotel, where all events will be held.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
Washington, D.C., officially the District of Columbia, is the capital city of the United States and its only federal district. It stands on the northeast bank of the Potomac River, across from Virginia and surrounded by Maryland to the north, east, and south. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers and cool winters, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
