Connect with friends, family, classmates and neighbors to walk, jog or run through nature this Thanksgiving. The second annual Two Rivers Turkey Trot starts on the Anacostia Tidal Marsh and runs through the back nine of the Langston Golf Course, a hidden gem and arguably the most beautiful area in DC.
The event is organized by a group of volunteers, and proceeds support the Two Rivers Public Charter School. Your support helps ensure that students continue to access rigorous, joyful hands-on learning, arts integration and community connections.

Washington, D.C., officially the District of Columbia, is the capital city of the United States and its only federal district. It stands on the northeast bank of the Potomac River, across from Virginia and surrounded by Maryland to the north, east, and south. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers and cool winters, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
