These Tillamook Forest races are tough, and we aren't joking about that. But an opportunity to run this classic race is one you don't want to miss.
The 11-miler is a point-to-point route entirely on the Wilson River trail with no climbing of mountains. A perfect option for those who don't want the exposure of the 25K.
No matter the distance you choose, you will have an amazing Fall day in the forest with friends, with a great finish line hang out spot right beside the river.
This event is produced by Go Beyond Racing. We put on over three dozen trail races a year. You can count on every Go Beyond race to:
- Be highly organized with racer safety and satisfaction as top priorities
- Donate to a worthy beneficiary for each race
- Have well-stocked aid stations and the friendliest, most supportive volunteers
- Challenge and reward each participant
- Put more time, money, and energy than most to reduce, reuse, recycle, and lessen the environmental impact of our events
We look forward to sending you off on the trails and welcoming you across the finish line!
There is no 50K in 2027.

The 25K ascends both Elk and Kings mountain, and runners use their hands for help as they scramble up some of the rocky and rugged trail. The descents are steep, including one off of Kings mountain. The 11-mile route starts at Elk Creek and goes west to the Smith Homestead on the Wilson River trail.
The 25K is HARD. It ascends both Elk and Kings mountain and you'll be using your hands for help as you scramble up some of the rocky and rugged trail. The descents are no joke either and your quads won't thank you for the one off of Kings mountain. But those views and this experience is ALL WORTH IT.

Tillamook is a city and the county seat of Tillamook County on the Oregon coast, located at the southeast end of Tillamook Bay on the Pacific Ocean. It had a population of 5,204 at the 2020 census. The climate is mild and wet in winter with cool summers, so summer and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
