US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting.
Events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting a themed medal, working toward series points, or getting outside with good people.
Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. Expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel.
Because these are small local races, there are normally one or two staff members at each race.
EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish.
Plan for the weather and bring anything you may want between laps.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
Temple is a city in Bell County in Central Texas, located off Interstate 35 about 68 miles north of Austin and 34 miles south of Waco. It is a principal city in the Killeen-Temple-Fort Hood metropolitan area. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot summers and mild, relatively short winters, so the spring and autumn months are the best seasons to race.
