Girls on the Run "So Much Fun"
About the race
Join us on Saturday, November 21, 2026 in Tampa at Al Lopez Park for the most joyous 5K around! The Girls on the Run 5K is open to the public and is for EVERYONE: walking, running, skipping, hopping, and even dancing are all welcome.
It's a 5K like no other, with capes, giggles, smiles, tutus, crowns, girl power sparkle, color hairdos, cheers and encouragement. Everyone is free to be themselves and complete the 5K at their own happy pace and with their own unique style.
The Girls on the Run 5K is the culminating celebration for every girl who has completed their 8-week Girls on the Run or Heart & Sole program. In the weeks leading up to the 5K, Girls on the Run inspires girls to take charge of their lives and define the future on their terms.
Strollers, registration and pets
- Strollers are permitted on the course.
- Children ages 4 and younger do not need to register.
- Pets are NOT allowed. For the health and safety of all participants, please leave furry friends at home.
Cancellation policy
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
