2026 Southbury Turkey Trot 5K & Kids Fun Run

WHEN: Thursday, November 26th, 2026. Race begins at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Kid's Fun Run begins at 8:00 a.m.

WHERE: Maxx 365 Fitness Studio, 730 Main Street South, Southbury, CT off I-84, Exit 14.

TEAM COMPETITION: Teams must have a minimum of 3 participants with no maximum. You must register a team name during the registration process to be eligible.

5K REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is online now for $30.00, plus 50% of the processing fees (the other 50% will be paid by the SWC). Online registration closes Tuesday, November 24th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. There is no race day registration. We will do our best to accommodate T-shirt size but cannot guarantee it.

KID'S FUN RUN REGISTRATION: Pre-registration online is $10.00, plus 50% of the processing fees (the other 50% will be paid by the SWC).

RACE COURSE: USATF certified course. The route goes down Main Street South, turns right onto Oak Tree Road, then turns left back onto Main Street South. Flat and fast.

AWARDS: To keep the competition meaningful, the following minimum enrollment numbers must be met for awards. Overall winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd places): at least 100 people registered per gender category. Age group categories: at least 10 people registered per gender category. All awards are based on gun time.

The majority of the proceeds from the Southbury Turkey Trot will benefit the Southbury Food Bank, Southbury Fuel Bank and Southbury Helping Hands.
