Sportspectrum's Log Jammer Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K
About the race
Sunday November 22nd, 2026. Race starts and finishes in the parking lot of Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105. Title sponsor: Pediatric Dentistry - Dr. Jason Gambill.
The event includes a marathon and a 26.2 Miles course, a half marathon and a 13.1 Miles course, a 5K, a 5k Wheelchair Division (3.1 Miles), and three 2-person marathon relays (26.2 Miles) in coed, M/M, and F/F categories. Marathon entry is $110 through July 2, 2026, and half marathon entry is $90 through the same date. The 5K is $25 through July 2, 2026, and registration is currently open.
Refreshments
Food and beverages will be served at the post-event party and awards ceremony.

- Sunday, race day: 6:15 a.m. - 7:10 a.m.
No race day registration or packet pickup after 7:10 a.m. on race morning.
No registration for the 2-person relay on race morning.
No packets are mailed or held. If you do not pick up your packet by the start of the race, your packet will be given to volunteers.
Finishers medals and race swag
There will be finishers medals for each race.

Marathon awards
- Overall male and female: $250 each
- 2nd overall male and female: $150 each
- Overall masters (40+) male and female: $100 each
1st and 2nd male and female in each age group receive an award.
Age groups: 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Half Marathon awards
- Overall male and female: $250 each

Switching races
Once packet pick up starts at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday the 19th, there will be no switching events.
Course rules and time limits
No dogs, inline skates or skateboards are allowed on the race course.
- Full Marathon: 6 1/2 hour time limit (14:52 per mile pace).
- Half Marathon: 3 1/2 hour time limit.
Refunds and transfers
Refunds
- Cancel more than 30 days in advance: 100% refund.
- Cancel between 30 days and two weeks before race day: 50% refund.
- No refunds less than two weeks before race day.
Race entry transfers
- Transfers to another person are allowed until two weeks before race day.
- Transfer charge: $10.00.

City insight: Shreveport
Shreveport is the parish seat of Caddo Parish and the third-most populous city in Louisiana, after New Orleans and Baton Rouge. It extends along the west bank of the Red River into neighboring Bossier Parish. Summers are hot and humid, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
