Celebrate this Veterans Day with our annual Freedom Run. Join our 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon, whether you are running for a personal best or walking with friends and family, and honor the Veterans who have sacrificed to protect our freedom.
You can raise funds for a charity of choice (optional). 100% of the net funds raised will go towards your cause of choice.
This is a smaller, private group run with a capped field per wave, so it never feels crowded and you are never just a bib number. All paces and ages are welcome (under 18 with a guardian).
There is no gear, no setup, and no fuss. You get the course and our coordinators cheering you on in a relaxed setting.
No packet pickup is needed. Your swag ships straight to your door. Double-check your full US mailing address, including apartment number, when you register, as your shirt is sent to this address. Race bibs are handed out on race day.
Your shirt will arrive at your mailing address the week of your race.
Shipping may not catch up in time, so your shirt could arrive after race day. Wear whatever you like and come run with us anyway.
We will send final participant info by the Wednesday before race day with all the details and course maps.
Once you have registered, use your confirmation number to reserve a wave.
Running late? Jump in when you arrive. Our coordinators stay on-site for 3 hours after the first wave. Times may change depending on the season, so check your participant info email.
Prefer to run on your own time? Our virtual run includes a digital training pack to keep you on track. Run it whenever and wherever, with any tracking device you like (optional), then send your results to [email protected] to claim your medal.
We close each wave the moment it fills. Once a wave sells out, you can take the virtual run option or join the waitlist.
Timing is optional. Track your own time via Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, or similar, then submit it through our online form to get posted, or ask a coordinator to time you.
There are no timing chips. This is about progress, not pressure.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
Seattle is the most populous city in Washington State and the Pacific Northwest, situated on an isthmus between Puget Sound and Lake Washington. It is the county seat of King County and the northernmost major city in the United States. The climate is mild and often damp, with dry summers and wet winters, so summer and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
