Run for Mental Health is an empowering journey toward well-being, run with purpose and heart for someone you know who is on that difficult journey. Let's break the stigma and stride toward a healthier mind.
This is a smaller, private group run with a capped field per wave, so it never feels crowded and you're never just a bib number. All paces and ages are welcome (under 18 with a guardian), and you can run it, walk it, or do whatever suits you.
No packet pickup: your swag ships straight to your door, so there are no lines. Double-check your full U.S. mailing address, including apartment number, when you register, as your shirt is sent there. Race bibs are handed out on race day.
Your shirt will arrive at your mailing address the week of your race.
Shipping may not catch up in time, so your shirt could arrive after race day. You are welcome to wear whatever you like and come run anyway.
We'll send final participant info by the Wednesday before race day, with all the details and course maps.
Once you've registered, use your confirmation number to reserve a wave.
Once a wave sells out, you can take the virtual run option or join the waitlist.
Jump in when you arrive. Our coordinators stay on-site for 3 hours after the first wave. Times may change depending on the season, so please check your participant info email.
Prefer to run on your own time? Our virtual run includes a digital training pack to keep you on track. Run it whenever and wherever, with any tracking device you like (optional), then send your results to [email protected] to claim your medal.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
San Francisco, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the 17th-largest city in the United States and the second most populous in the Bay Area. It is a global center for technology and finance, known for its eclectic architecture and mild climate. The Mediterranean climate brings cool, foggy summers and mild, wet winters, so early autumn and spring are the best seasons to race.
