Run with purpose and heart for someone you know who is on the difficult journey of mental health. This event is about breaking the stigma and moving toward a healthier mind.
The events are kept small, personal and local, so every run feels less like a number and more like a memory.
Each wave closes once it fills. When a wave is sold out, you can choose the virtual run option or join the waitlist.
No packet pickup is needed. Your swag ships to your door. Double-check your full U.S. mailing address, including apartment number, when you register, because the shirt is sent to that address.
Race bibs are handed out on race day.
Your shirt arrives at your mailing address the week of your race.
Final participant information, with all details and course maps, is sent by the Wednesday before race day.
After you register, use your confirmation number to reserve a wave.
Jump in when you arrive. Coordinators stay on site for 3 hours after the first wave. Times may change depending on the season, so check your participant info email.
Prefer to run on your own time? The Virtual Run includes a digital training pack to keep you on track. Run whenever and wherever, with any tracking device you like (optional). Then send your results to [email protected] to claim your medal.
Join the Team Glo volunteer team and help bring these community runs to life.
Have a mission that helps people around the world? We can help you fundraise at no cost to you.
Timing is optional. Track your own time with Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run or a similar app, then submit it through the online form to get posted. Or ask a coordinator to time you.
No timing chips are used.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
San Diego is a city on the Pacific coast of Southern California, next to the Mexican border, known for its beaches, parks and canyon-cut mesas. The climate is mild year-round, with warm, dry summers, mild winters and most of the modest rain falling between December and March. Coastal areas are cooled by the ocean and often by a marine layer, especially during May gray and June gloom, while inland areas swing more in temperature. Downtown averages about 10 °C January lows and 26 °C August highs. Conditions suit racing for much of the year, with inland courses warmer than the coast.
