Introducing the "Run for Mental Health", an empowering journey towards well-being. Run with purpose, with heart, for someone you know who is on that difficult journey like all of us.
Let's break the stigma and stride towards a healthier mind. Your run can make a difference.
We keep things small, personal, and local, so every run feels less like a number and more like a memory. Whether it's a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, or virtual run, you'll get the warmth of a hometown event.
This is a smaller, private group run with a capped field per wave, so it never feels crowded and you are never just a bib number. All paces and ages are welcome (under 18 with a guardian). Run it, walk it, however you like.
There is no gear, no setup, and no fuss: just you, the course, and our coordinators cheering you on in a relaxed, stress-free setting.
Packet pickup is not needed: your swag ships straight to your door. Double-check your full U.S. mailing address, including apartment number, when you register, since your shirt is sent there. Race bibs are handed out on race day.
Your shirt arrives at your mailing address the week of your race.
Shipping may not catch up in time, so your shirt could arrive after race day. Wear whatever you like and run with us anyway.
After you register, reserve your wave using your confirmation number.
Jump in when you arrive. Coordinators stay on-site for 3 hours after the first wave. Times may change depending on the season, so check your participant info email.
Prefer to run on your own time? Our Virtual Run includes a digital training pack. Run whenever and wherever, with any tracking device (optional), then send your results to [email protected] to claim your medal.
Love helping people cross finish lines? Join our volunteer team and help bring these community runs to life.
Timing is optional. Track your own time via Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, or similar, then submit it through our online form to get posted. Or ask a coordinator to time you. There are no timing chips; this is about progress, not pressure.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
Final participant info, with all details and course maps, is sent by the Wednesday before race day.
Sacramento is the capital of California, at the meeting of the Sacramento and American rivers, with a flat landscape, a long river trail and a big cycling culture. The climate is Mediterranean: summers (June to September) are hot and dry, autumn is warm, winters (December to February) are mild and wet, and spring is mild. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for racing, with early starts in summer. The city has an international airport.
