Get ready for a memorable run through the land of waterfalls! Always first FULL weekend in December, the Cloudland Canyon 50M/50K/25K/5M will become an adventure tradition.
This race contributes money to Cloudland Canyon State Park/Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park.
All runners get a pint glass with registration. 50 Mile, 50K and 25K runners get a finisher medal.
To be guaranteed a pint glass or medal, you must be registered by November 1st.
All races take place at Cloudland Canyon State Park, 122 Cloudland Canyon Park Rd, Rising Fawn, GA 30738.
The races are run at Cloudland Canyon State Park. The 50 Mile and 50K take place on Saturday, and the 25K and 5 Mile take place on Sunday. The 50K consists of a single 14 loop and then a lollipop, and the 50 Miler is the 50K course with another lollipop off that course. The 5 Mile is a lollipop route, and the 50K and 50 Miler consist of mainly rolling hills with a plunge down to the bottom of the canyon and back.
While the 5 Mile route is hiker friendly, you will most likely need to run some of the rest to make the cut-offs.
The goal of these races is not to be hard but to be scenic, fun and safe. You will pass massive waterfalls, jaw dropping open views of valleys, and a sunrise as far as you can see into the horizon!
