Early Bird Turkey Trot, Sunday 11/22/2026 in Richland, WA
Two weeks before Thanksgiving in 2011, we decided to give back to all the participants who raced with us over the year by offering a FREE race on Thanksgiving morning. We continue that tradition.
If you have crossed under our finish line in any race from Dec. 1, 2025 to Nov. 14, 2026, you have earned a FREE spot in ONE of the in-person Turkey Trot races. Please note the dates: running one of our Turkey Trots last year does NOT qualify for a free entry.
This Early Bird race follows the same guidelines as Thanksgiving Day, held on Sunday November 22nd at Columbia Point Park in Richland, WA.

The course
Location
City insight: Richland
Richland is a city in south-eastern Washington state, one of the Tri-Cities on the Columbia River, in a dry, sunny region with long river paths. The climate is semi-arid: summers (June to August) are hot and dry, autumn is mild, winters (December to February) are cool, and spring is pleasant. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for racing, with the river good for swimming in summer. The Tri-Cities airport serves the area.
