Perris is an old railway city in Riverside County, California, about 71 miles east-southeast of Los Angeles. It is known for Lake Perris, skydiving, and the Southern California Railway Museum, and lies within the Inland Empire. Its sunny, dry climate brings hot summers and mild winters, so autumn and spring are the best seasons to race.
