Faith, Miles & Memories-The David Doyle Memorial 5K
About the race
Join us for Faith, Miles & Memories: The David Doyle Memorial 5K as we come together to celebrate the life and legacy of David Doyle.
David had a love for running, cycling, serving his community, and encouraging those around him. His impact was especially meaningful to the youth of Goshen Baptist Church, and this memorial 5K is an opportunity to carry that legacy forward through faith, fellowship, and a few miles together.
Participants may run or walk the 5K. Whether you knew David personally or simply want to support a great cause, you are welcome to join us.
Proceeds from the event will benefit NC Bikes for Kids and Clean Up Wilkes, two causes that reflect David's love of cycling and his commitment to his community.

City insight: North Wilkesboro
North Wilkesboro is a town in Wilkes County, North Carolina, USA, with a population of 4,382 at the 2020 census. Set along the Yadkin River in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it is the birthplace of Lowe's Home Improvement and is known for North Wilkesboro Speedway, one of NASCAR's original venues. Summers are warm and humid with cooler mountain evenings, so spring and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
