Registration is open for the 4th Annual IOW Turkey Trot, a family friendly race on Saturday, November 21st that is open to the entire community and beyond.
The race is hosted by the Isle of Wight Community Club, a small community club whose members live on or nearby to Isle of Wight. It serves as a major fundraiser for 2026 and the proceeds will support the upkeep of the club, the addition of new programs and our outreach within the community.
Onsite registration, bib pickup and pre-race festivities kick off at 9am on race day. Racers/Walkers will start assembling for line up around 9:30/9:45 and the race will begin promptly at 10am. Food & fun will immediately follow the completion of the race.
This is a timed event and awards will be given. Medals will be provided for the top three finishers in each age bracket as well as the top three male & female overall finishers. Costumes are welcome and encouraged! Dress up as a turkey, elf or Santa - your choice if you want to rock the Thanksgiving or Christmas theme!
Isle of Wight Community Club is located at the end of Isle of Wight Road. Some GPS systems take you to the wrong location - there is another Fourth Street in Midway. Be sure that your GPS is taking you down Isle of Wight Road to the correct Fourth Street so you don't miss the start of the race.
An event of this size takes many helping hands. If you are not interested in running/walking, but would like to help work the event, we welcome your assistance.
Sponsorship Opportunities - big changes this year! Something for everyone. Email [email protected] or call Emma at 770-845-1527 for additional details.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
