City insight: Greenville
Greenville is a city and the county seat of Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains about halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte. It had 70,720 residents at the 2020 census and is the sixth-most populous city in South Carolina. Summers are hot and humid with mild winters, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
