City of Champions Half Marathon 10k/5k
About the race
Enjoy a moderately challenging run through some of the highlights of Gadsden. The run starts and ends at Back Forty Beer Company.
The race is held Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 200 North 6th Street, Gadsden, AL 35901, with courses of 13.1, 6, and 3.1 miles. Half marathon entry is $55 through July 1, $60 through September 30, $65 through October 30, or $70 through November 19, 2026. The 10k costs $30 through July 1, $35 through October 30, or $40 through November 19, and the 5k costs $25 through July 1 or $30 through November 19. Registration is open.
Start times and communication
The half marathon and 10k begin at 7:30am, and the 5k begins at 7:45am.
All information and updates will be emailed to participants, so please provide a valid email address during registration.
T-shirt deadline and charity
The T-shirt deadline is October 27th.
This event benefits The United Way of Etowah County and other local charities.
Cancellation policy
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
