City insight: Fredericksburg
Fredericksburg is an independent city in Virginia, USA, and part of the Washington metropolitan area, with 27,982 residents at the 2020 census. It sits near the fall line of the Rappahannock River and was the site of two Civil War battles, now preserved in a national military park. The climate is humid, with hot summers and cool winters, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
