Location

City insight: Fort Myers

Fort Myers is the county seat of Lee County on Florida's southwest coast and anchors the Cape Coral-Fort Myers metropolitan area with the neighboring city of Cape Coral. It is a gateway to the Southwest Florida region and was the winter home of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. The climate is tropical to humid subtropical, with hot, wet summers and warm, dry winters, so the winter and early spring months are the best seasons to race.
