Fort Lauderdale is a coastal city in Florida, USA, about 30 miles north of Miami along the Atlantic Ocean. It is the seat of Broward County and the most populous city in the county, with 182,760 residents at the 2020 census. The climate is tropical to humid subtropical, with hot, wet summers and drier, mild winters, so winter and early spring are the best seasons to race.
