Findlay Beer Chase 5K benefitting the Braden Kramer Foundation.
Join us on Saturday, November 14th at 10AM for a timed 5K that starts and ends at Findlay Brewing Co. While you are running, chase down the "beer!" Runners who finish the 5K before the "beer" will receive an entry to win a $50 gift card to Dave's Running and a $50 gift card to Findlay Brewing.
All proceeds from this event benefit The Braden Kramer Foundation.
Registration for the 5K includes race timing, a race shirt, and a voucher for a pint of beer at Findlay Brewing Company on the day of the event. You must be 21 or over to receive the beer voucher.
Registration remains open until race day, but after the 1st a shirt is not guaranteed due to the order and printing schedule. We do plan to order a few extras.
New this year, the top male and top female of each age group receive a prize.
Bring a valid ID or driver's license, as the race is open to all ages. You must be 21 to enjoy the post-run beer.
This is a rain or shine event, so dress appropriately.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
The 5K is an open course, and roads will not be closed for the event. The route begins and ends at Findlay Brewing Co. and heads out on Main St., along the Blanchard River, through Riverside Park, and back down Sandusky St. The route is primarily on road, sidewalks, and paved trail, with a Findlay Police Department guide vehicle. Runners may run or walk.
East Crawford St. will be closed during the event and the morning of the event for sponsor tables, packet pickup, and the kids "Super Hero Dash."
The kids "Super Hero Dash" begins at 9:30 AM on E. Crawford St. Bring your kids, wear your favorite Super Hero costume, and blast through the finish line. Every participant receives a prize.
Findlay is a city in Hancock County, Ohio, United States, and its county seat, lying about 40 miles south of Toledo. It is the second-largest city in Northwest Ohio, had a population of 40,313 at the 2020 census, and is home to the University of Findlay and the headquarters of Marathon Petroleum. The climate is humid continental, with warm summers and cold winters, so late spring and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
