The New Jersey Fall Half, 10K, and 5K
About the race
To race on a course on the Monmouth Battlefield is to run through the site of the Battle of Monmouth, fought on June 28, 1778, a pivotal engagement in the Revolutionary War. This is a National Historic Landmark, the highest level of recognition bestowed on our nation's historic sites.
This is not just a race; it has become a runner's rite of passage. Join us for our inaugural event and make your run as revolutionary as this place is to all of us.
The race is chip timed, with a live video stream, online tracking, and finish line pictures and video. The course is well marked, with support stations at every mile. The four-loop 3.27-mile course is for half marathoners, the two-loop 3.1-mile course is for 10K runners, and the one-loop 3.1-mile course is for 5K runners. The course is fan friendly, tree lined, beautiful, fun, and challenging.
Post-race celebration
Muffins, cider donuts, fruit, and drinks are served after the race.

Race day schedule
- 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.: Baggage check-in
- 8:30 a.m.: Bib pick-up starts
- 9:30 a.m.: Race start (subject to change due to weather conditions)
- About 11:00 a.m.: Preliminary results posted
- 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Awards ceremony
What to bring and receive
- Bring photo ID.
- You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached.
- The bib has a tear-off tag that you pin to your personal bag.
- To retrieve your bag from the secure area, show the matching bib.
Transfers, credits and refunds
There are no transfers, no credits, and no refunds. Race directors reserve the right to change the date, modify, or cancel the race. If this happens, your entry may be transferred to another event.
