US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who want a friendly, low-pressure race day with just enough competition to keep things exciting.
Events are local, welcoming, and easy to join, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting a themed medal, working toward series points, or getting outside with good people.
Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. Expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
Plan for the weather and bring anything you may want between laps. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Check in with race staff if you need help. Usually one or two staff members are present at each race.
Concord is the most populous city in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, and its county seat, located about 20 miles northeast of Uptown Charlotte in the Piedmont region. Its population was 105,240 at the 2020 census, and it is home to NASCAR's Charlotte Motor Speedway and Concord Mills. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
