The Fall Series consists of four trail races at different city and county parks. The trails range from well-maintained to technical single track with rocks and tree roots. It is cross country running with a Colorado twist. This race, Fall Series IV, runs at Palmer Park.
Colorado Springs is a home rule city and the county seat and most populous city of El Paso County, Colorado, located about 70 miles south of Denver. It sits near the base of Pikes Peak and stands more than a mile above sea level, with 478,961 residents at the 2020 census. Summers are mild and sunny at altitude and winters are cold, so late spring and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
