Join Evergreen Property Group and Bad Beard Events for the 3rd Holiday Hustle Trail Race in the picturesque Black Creek subdivision, supporting the Tennessee River Gorge Trust.
Experience the brand-new trails on Aetna Mountain with race options for everyone: a challenging 10K and a swift 5K, set against the backdrop of Mt. Aetna.
ALL ability levels are welcome, and you may hike the course if you do not want to run it.
The start/finish has a large open field, covered pavilions with picnic tables and grills, a playground, a dog park, and a basketball court.
Bring the entire family, including pups (but they cannot run the race), even if you are not running.
The race takes place on December 13th, 2026, just before Christmas.
Every runner will receive Christmas swag and pancakes after the race.
The 5K-ish is a single blue/green loop and the 10K-ish is two same-direction loops. Each loop has around 600 ft of gain, with a climb up and a run down. There will be one full aid station with water and snacks at the main Aeta Trailhead.
Chattanooga is a city in south-east Tennessee on the Tennessee River, surrounded by ridges and mountains, with a riverfront, a large outdoor scene and a well-known Ironman event. The climate is humid subtropical: summers (June to August) are hot and humid, autumn is mild and colourful, winters (December to February) are cool, and spring is warm. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for racing. Hills are a feature of the bike and run courses. The city has an airport, and Atlanta is about two hours away.
