Location

City insight: Charlottesville

Charlottesville is an independent city in Virginia, known colloquially as C'ville, and the county seat of the surrounding Albemarle County. It was the former capital of Virginia and was home to presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers and mild winters, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
