Two DFW running clubs, Carrollton Runners (CRC) and Mid-Cities Running (M-CRC), merged at the beginning of 2025.
Together they host over 100 days of running per year.
CRC races are all in Carrollton (Josey Ranch and McInnish parks).
They run January through November, with a special race in December.
M-CRC hosts free social runs. Each social run has a run coordinator and will generally have pace groups.
M-CRC social runs are in Euless and Las Colinas. They are typically held September through May, but the Wednesday run is year-round.
For safety reasons, you must register on RunSignup and complete the waiver to see details of the runs.
M-CRC is always looking for new social run coordinators.
The 5K is a prediction race. Before the race, runners tell the timer their predicted finish time. The winner is the runner whose time is closest to their prediction. No watches or phones are allowed if you want to be in contention.
Carrollton, Texas, is the largest U.S. community bearing the Carrollton name, and it is located in the state of Texas. Several other places in the United States share the name, including towns in Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, and Ohio. The climate is humid subtropical in this part of Texas, with long, very hot summers and mild winters, so spring and autumn are the best seasons to race.
