Run for Mental Health is a small, private group run with a capped field per wave, so it never feels crowded and you are never just a bib number.
All paces and ages are welcome (under 18 with a guardian), and you can run it, walk it, or do both.
There is no gear and no setup needed. Our coordinators cheer you on in a relaxed, stress-free setting.
Every registration includes an invite to one of our local run clubs.
Running T-shirt (shipped to your address, U.S. only)
Finisher's medal
Virtual training run (emailed to you one month before your run)
Online results and certificate of completion
There is no packet pickup. Your swag ships to your door. Double-check your full U.S. mailing address, including apartment number, when you register, because your shirt is sent there. Race bibs are handed out on race day.
Your shirt arrives at your mailing address the week of your race.
Shipping may not catch up in time, so your shirt could arrive after race day. You are welcome to run in whatever you like.
Use your confirmation number to reserve a wave after you have registered.
Spots sell out fast, and we close each wave the moment it fills.
We send final participant info by the Wednesday before race day, with all details and course maps.
Jump in when you arrive. Our coordinators stay on site for 3 hours after the first wave. Times may change with the season, so check your participant info email.
Prefer to run on your own time? The Virtual Run includes a digital training pack. Run whenever and wherever, with any tracking device you like (optional), then send your results to [email protected] to claim your medal.
Once a wave sells out, you can take the virtual run option instead.
Timing is optional. Track your own time with Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, or a similar app, then submit it through our online form to get posted, or ask a coordinator to time you.
No timing chips are used.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
Bradenton is a city and the county seat of Manatee County, Florida, USA, and a principal city in the Sarasota metropolitan area. It sits along the Manatee River, with the Bradenton Riverwalk and the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature downtown. Winters are mild and summers are hot and humid, so late autumn through spring is the best time to race.
