City insight: Boca Raton
Boca Raton is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, about 45 miles north of Miami and a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area. It had 97,422 residents at the 2020 census and was first incorporated in 1924 as Bocaratone. South Florida has hot, humid, wet summers and warm, drier winters, so the cooler months from November to April are the best time to race.
