City insight: Aurora
Aurora is a home rule city spread across Arapahoe, Adams, and Douglas counties in Colorado and is a principal city of the Denver metropolitan area. It is the third-most populous city in the state and sits within the Front Range Urban Corridor. The climate is semi-arid with sunny days, cold winters, and warm summers marked by afternoon thunderstorms, so late spring and early autumn are the best seasons to race.
