Run for Mental Health is an empowering journey towards well-being. Run with purpose and heart for someone you know who is on that difficult journey.
We keep things small, personal, and local, with a capped field per wave, so you are never just a bib number. Whether it's a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, or virtual run, you'll get the warmth of a hometown event.
All paces and ages are welcome (under 18 with a guardian). Run it, walk it, however you like.
Running late? Jump in when you arrive. Our coordinators stay on-site for 3 hours after the first wave. Times may change depending on seasons, so please check your participant info email.
Timing is optional. Track your own time with Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, or a similar app, then submit it through our online form to get posted. Or just ask a coordinator to time you. There are no timing chips, because this is about progress, not pressure.
Packet pickup is skipped: your swag ships straight to your door. Double check your full U.S. mailing address, including apartment number, when you register, because your shirt is sent there. Race bibs are handed out on race day.
Shipping may not catch up in time, so your shirt could arrive after race day. You are still welcome to come run with us.
Join our volunteer team and help bring these community runs to life.
Discover our charity initiatives at the organizer's charity page.
Athletes can cancel their registration, but no refund is given.
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
We send final participant info, with all details and course maps, by the Wednesday before race day.
Prefer to run on your own time? Our virtual run includes a digital training pack. Run whenever and wherever, with any tracking device you like (optional). Then send your results to [email protected] to claim your medal.
If a wave sells out, you can choose the virtual run option or join the waitlist.
Atlanta is the capital of Georgia, USA, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains at about 1,050 feet, with rolling hills and dense tree cover. It has a humid subtropical climate with generous rain all year: summers are hot and humid, with 90 F (32 C) reached on about 47 days a year, and winters are mild but variable, with about 36 freezing nights and occasional light snow. Spring and autumn are the best seasons to race. Summer needs heat and humidity precautions. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the world's busiest by passengers, serves the city.
