Join us on Thanksgiving morning for the 18th Annual Athens Turkey Trot! Turkey-calling runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to join other members of the Athens community for this annual pre-food coma tradition.
The race follows a flat, out-and-back course on the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway along the scenic tree-lined Hocking River. This year's race features official chip timing, and a commemorative t-shirt can be purchased as part of race registration.
The race is organized by the Athens Athletics Club (AAC), a 501(c)3 Athens-based nonprofit that supports the development of Athens Bulldogs cross country and track & field athletes. AAC is an affiliate member of the Road Runners Club of America. All funds collected from the Athens Turkey Trot go to the AAC and support the Athens Bulldog XC and Track teams.
