10K Turkey Trek course

Start with a steady uphill climb to the summit at mile 3, where the infamous EGGNOG CHUG CHALLENGE awaits. The eggnog chug is optional: chug 5 oz of eggnog to earn an entry to win a new pair of running shoes.

Catch your breath and soak in the views from the top of the mesa. Then run the ridge for a mile before winding your way down the east side.

Once you're off the hill, the HAY BALE HOP CHALLENGE awaits. Navigate the hay bales along the relatively flat straightaway before continuing your clockwise loop back toward the park.

Just one kilometer from the finish, you'll face the final challenge: FILL YOUR PIE HOLE. Enjoy a fresh portion of holiday pumpkin pie before making your final push to the finish line.

This course is for bragging rights: hills, holiday treats, ridiculous challenges and a whole lot of fun.

5K course

The 5K has plenty of Turkey Trek fun without the big climb to the summit. It includes two challenges:

  • Hay bale hop: get those legs moving!
  • Fill your pie hole: pumpkin pie awaits!

2K course

The 2K is a great way to join the fun without the bigger distances. It includes the FILL YOUR PIE HOLE challenge, where a delicious portion of pumpkin pie adds a sweet twist to your trek.

Half Turkey (13.1 miles)

For those who eat hills for breakfast and wash them down with eggnog, the Half Turkey is the biggest challenge. It takes on all three challenges offered on the 10K course, plus additional mileage to reach a full 13.1 miles.

Finish the Half Turkey and you'll earn a commemorative FINISHER MUG to celebrate your accomplishment.
