Anaheim is a large city in northern Orange County, California, part of Greater Los Angeles and home to the Disneyland Resort. It has a borderline hot semi-arid climate: winters are warm with occasional heavy rain, and summers are hot and essentially rainless. Autumn through spring is the best time to race, and early starts help in summer, when heat can be intense and the record is 115 F (46 C). The city lies about 25 miles (40 km) southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
